Saif Gaddafi apparently doesn't want to go the way of his father. Gaddafi's son and onetime heir apparent is in talks with the International Criminal Court about turning himself in and facing trial. The ICC prosecutor, Luis Moreno-Ocampo, said that he doesn't know the whereabouts of Gaddafi but that he was in indirect talks with him. Gaddafi, according to Moreno-Ocampo, “says he is innocent and he will prove his innocence.” There have been unconfirmed reports that Gaddafi and Abdullah al Sanousik, the former intelligence minister also wanted by the ICC, have fled to Mali and may be under the protection of Tuareg tribesmen.
