Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo broke the Champions League single-season scoring record on Tuesday, notching twice to take his team to the final of the competition. His 15^th and 16^th goals, which came in just 10 matches, took the Real Madrid star past the record of 14 set by Jose “Mazzola” Altafini in the 1962-63 season and equaled by Lionel Messi in 2011-12.
