The Daily Beast’s Cheat Sheet won the “best email newsletter” award at Thursday’s Digiday Publishing Awards. The recognition was aimed at the “most effective use of an email newsletter to forge a direct connection with readers.” Newsletters produced by The Washington Post, HuffPost, Harvard Business Review, and Quartz were also nominated.
