The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah did not react well to Robert Mueller’s conclusion that President Trump did not conspire with Russia to win the 2016 election.
“I’m not gonna lie,” he said. “It’s a little disappointing.”
Noah said he finally understands why Trump kept repeating his “No collusion” mantra. “He was doing The Secret!” he said. “You see, you put it out in the universe and it happens for you.”

But at the same time, Noah is not buying the president’s claim that the report “totally exonerated him,”—especially since a summary of the report given to lawmakers says of possible obstruction of justice, “While this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.”
“Are you shitting me right now?!” Noah asked. “Robert Mueller spends two years investigating obstruction of justice and his conclusion is, ‘I don’t know, what do you guys think?’ That’s not an answer, Robert Mueller! That’s the question we gave you!”
“If I wanted my questions answered with questions,” he continued, “I wouldn’t get a special counsel, I would get a therapist!”
From there, Noah moved into the Fox News “victory parade” from Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity and others. While the host admitted that Democrats should apologize to Trump, he said Republicans should also apologize to Mueller: “Because they spent two years saying that he was a ‘partisan hack’ on a ‘witch hunt.’”
