Report: Dan Rather in Talks to Host Show for The Young Turks

Veteran newsman Dan Rather is reportedly in talks to host a show on The Young Turks Network, a popular progressive YouTube channel, Politico reported Wednesday. Rather recently began using his Facebook to distribute critical commentary on President Trump, reaching millions of readers through the social-media platform with essays on the subject. Rather spent four decades in the news business and is best-known for his turns in the anchor chair at CBS Evening News and 60 Minutes, before being fired over a misleading and unverified 2004 report on President George W. Bush’s military service.
