Daniel Radcliffe Admits to Alcohol Problem While Filming Harry Potter

Actor Daniel Radcliffe has confessed that he battled an alcohol problem. The Harry Potter star told U.K. GQ that during filming of the sixth film installment in 2009, “I became so reliant on [alcohol] to enjoy stuff. There were a few years there when I was just so enamored with the idea of living some sort of famous person’s lifestyle that really isn’t suited to me.” Radcliffe has since given up drinking completely, saying, “I'm actually enjoying the fact that I can have a relationship with my girlfriend (Olive Uniacke) where I'm really pleasant and not f------ up totally all the time.”
