Comedian Dave Chappelle is not happy that everyone thinks he’s a Donald Trump supporter. Confronted by a TMZ reporter on Monday about the stories that followed his stand-up show in New York Friday night in which he appeared to defend Trump against sexual assault accusations and declare Hillary Clinton “not right,” Chappelle looked exasperated as he said, “Jesus Christ, I’m not a Trump supporter,” adding, “unequivocally.” He urged everyone to vote for “whoever” they want to support, but made clear that he will not be voting for Trump. Chappelle also suggested that the original report about his set, from the New York Observer, which is run by Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, was deliberately misleading. “Just come see my shows for yourself and not listen to conservative paper reviews,” he added.
