Daveed Diggs will join several of his co-stars in exiting the critically acclaimed Broadway sensation Hamilton this month. July 15 will mark the final performance for Diggs in his Tony-winning run as Thomas Jefferson and Marquis de Lafayette. His understudies Andrew Chappelle, Austin Smith, and Seth Stewart will take over while the dual role is recast. Diggs joins the show’s former star and writer Lin-Manuel Miranda, Tony-winning co-lead Leslie Odom Jr., and several others in departure.
