Chris Licht was fired as chief executive of CNN on a walk in Central Park, The New York Times reports. The newspaper says that Warner Bros. Discovery boss David Zaslav summoned the embattled news honcho to meet him at 7 a.m. and gave him the ax. In a bizarre twist, it was also on a similar walk in the park that Zaslav reportedly offered Licht the top network job last year. The gig lasted just 13 controversial months.
