Disney Channel star Demi Lovato fired back at the network for a joke on the show Shake It Up—causing Disney to pull the offending episode. Following an episode of Shake It Up where a character joked “I would eat you up—if I ate,” the Sonny With a Chance star tweeted “I find it really funny how a company can lose one of their actresses’ from the pressures of an EATING DISORDER and yet still make jokes about that disease. #nice.”Lovato has been public with her struggles with eating disorders since she returned from a rehab facility last year for bulimia. Disney responded to Lovato’s tweets just hours later by apologizing via Twitter and then pulling the offending episode of Shake It Up, and running a rerun of So Random!
