Another lawsuit was filed Monday against Bad Boy Records founder Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, accusing the music industry veteran of sexually assaulting a teenager over two decades ago. The accuser, who filed the suit anonymously, was identified as a 16-year-old who in 2000 worked as a part-time babysitter in an apartment building where Diddy’s then-romantic partner lived, according to a copy of the suit obtained by Rolling Stone. The teenager was leaving the building when Diddy allegedly began repeatedly offering to give her a ride home. Two other unidentified men, including a driver, were in the vehicle with Combs at the time. She eventually acquiesced, but became scared when the driver failed to drop her off at home. Diddy allegedly gave her a drink which caused her to feel “groggy and unsteady,” according to the suit. The hip hop mogul allegedly took her to a second location and assaulted her before the driver dropped her off back at her home. Representatives for Combs did not immediately return a request for comment, but previously told Rolling Stone that he “has never sexually assaulted, or sex trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor.” Combs is currently behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where he is awaiting a criminal trial on federal charges including sex trafficking and racketeering. He is the target of a number of other high-profile lawsuits from accusers alleging sexual assault dating back to the 1990s.
