The electronic dance music DJ Thomas Wesley Pentz, better known as Diplo, was accused of sending revenge porn of a woman, who he dated for six years. The lawsuit, which was filed on Thursday in California, alleges that Pentz sent pornographic images and videos of the woman, whose identity was withheld, to a third party, according to Page Six. The woman alleged to have learned that Pentz had allegedly sent images of Doe and Pentz having sex to another party, who then informed Doe. Doe allowed Pentz to record them having sex, but stipulated that Pentz needed her consent to record and distribute those images. Pentz allegedly sent the images via Snapchat to the third party in October 2018, just two years after they started dating. Following Doe and the third party’s contact, the third party filed a police report with the NYPD, who then issued a warrant for Pentz’s arrest, according to Doe. Doe is seeking $150,000 in damages in her lawsuit against Pentz. Pentz’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, told Page Six that the lawsuit was “more of the same,” citing previous lawsuits against the DJ which have been dismissed.
