What’s the worst thing Donald Trump has ever said about a woman? A recent super PAC ad aimed at female Republicans featured a diverse group of women reciting a litany of his past misogynistic comments. But we now know they missed a big one.
“Wow, Trump’s an asshole, but he’s honest,” Trevor Noah said after playing a clip of the ad and Trump’s admission that he has not always treated women with respect on The Daily Show Tuesday night. “Yeah, he’s honestly an asshole.”
“There are so many examples out there of Trump’s gross perspectives on women they’re practically endless,” Noah said. “But there’s one special clip we came across that demonstrates just how completely innate this attitude is.”

Then, like he has done before with a previously unremarked-upon quote in which Trump called poor people “morons,” the host presented a clip from a 1994 episode of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous that, up until this point, had not made it online.
On the episode in question, host Robin Leach conducted a joint interview with Trump and his second wife, Marla Maples. Their daughter, Tiffany, had just turned 1 year old at the time and Leach asked Trump what attributes the baby inherited from each parent.
“Well, I think that she’s got a lot of Marla. She’s a really beautiful baby—she’s got Marla’s legs.” Then making a gesture that indicated large breasts, he added, “We don’t know whether or not she’s got this part yet, but time will tell.”
“He could have said anything!” Noah said. “And he went with legs and possibly boobs, which is not the correct answer.” He added, “We know for sure that there’s no female too small for Trump to reduce her to her body parts. We know this.”
“To him, every woman is just a pair of legs connected to a pair of breasts and there’s a bunch of extra stuff in the middle, but it’s not sexy and no one knows what it’s for really,” Noah continued. “And you know, normally a candidate who views women this way would be doomed. But Trump is not a normal candidate and we know that. We know airing this clip will change nothing. All we ask is one thing: The next time you’re about to hand Donald Trump your baby, maybe reconsider.”
As The Daily Beast and then The Daily Show, Saturday Night Live, and others have reminded us over the past year, Trump has a tendency to make unnecessarily lewd comments about being attracted to his daughter Ivanka dating back to her teen years. But this is the first time we have heard him making similar statements about his own baby.
