New York Giants kicker Josh Brown admitted multiple times to domestic abuse of his wife, according to newly obtained police documents. Brown made the admissions, which were used as evidence for his trial in Washington state, in a series of emails, diary entries, and counseling sessions. “I made selfish decisions to use and abuse women starting at the age of 7.... I objectified women and never really worried about the pain and hurt I caused them,” he wrote in a letter to friends in 2014. Brown’s wife provided those documents to investigators. Last month, Brown was recommended to prosecutors to be charged with two counts of fourth-degree domestic violence. He was arrested in May 2015, prompting the National Football League to suspend him for one game. But the newly unearthed admissions could trigger more punishments.
