The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Chicago Cubs 11-1 on Thursday night to reach their first World Series since 1988. Their victory over the defending champions happened at Wrigley Field—where the Cubs knocked the Dodgers out of the running last year. Dodgers outfielder Enrique Hernandez hit three home runs, including one grand slam in the third inning. The Dodgers will face either the New York Yankees or Houston Astros in the World Series on Tuesday. “Feels good to hear ‘World Series,’” ace starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw said after the Dodgers’ win. “It’s been a long time coming for this team. I never thought in a million years I’d get to play a World Series,” he said.
