Rumors had been circulating online that Dolly Parton would be incorporated somehow into Beyoncé’s much anticipated country album, Act II, with a collab or cover, and Parton has revealed at least one possible song fans can expect. Parton told local outlet Knox News this week that she’d cleared her classic song “Jolene” for the star. “I think she’s recorded ‘Jolene’ and I think it’s probably gonna be on her country album,” the country music legend said, “which I’m very excited about.” Whether not “Jolene” will actually appear on the album remains to seen ahead of the album’s release on March 29, but Parton said that she “hopes” it will. She also sang Beyoncé’s praises, telling the outlet, “She’s a beautiful girl and a great singer.” Parton congratulated Beyoncé in an Instagram post on her chart-topping country singles this past month.
