Donald Trump Jr.: I Don’t Recall Discussing Russia Probe With My Father

The transcript of Donald Trump Jr.’s testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee about his meeting with a Russian lawyer in Trump Tower ahead of the 2016 election has been released. According to the transcript, President Trump’s eldest son told the committee he didn’t mention the meeting or the underlying offer with his father, and said he couldn’t remember if he ever discussed the FBI’s investigation into Russian interference the election investigation with him either. The committee released more than 1,800 pages of transcripts of interviews with Trump’s son and others. According to the transcripts, Trump Jr. also said he didn’t think there was anything wrong with attending the Trump Tower meeting in which he was promised compromising information about on Hillary Clinton. The meeting took place on June 9, 2016.
