Donald Trump Jr. Mocks Trans Rights, #MeToo Movement at CPAC

LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON

Becki Falwell added that she’ll raise her newborn granddaughter ‘as a girl,’ and that ‘We’re not letting her have a choice.’

Donald Trump Jr. and his fellow panelists mocked trans rights and the #MeToo movement while speaking Friday at CPAC.

The comments began when Becki Falwell, wife of hyper-conservative Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr., told the panel—which also included ex Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle and TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk—that one of her children had recently given to a baby girl named Reagan.

Don Jr. joked that he had “lobbied” for the name Trump, prompting Falwell to respond that Trump wasn’t the most “feminine name.” “We’re gonna take a page out of the liberal playbook,” Don Jr. derisively responded. “It doesn’t matter, it doesn’t matter, we can identify how we want.”

His joke prompted Falwell to clarify that “she is a daughter,” adding: “She’s our granddaughter, and we’re raising her as a girl. We’re not letting her have a choice. God makes the choice of what the babies are gonna be. And God decided she was a girl.”

Falwell Jr. then chimed in, noting that they wouldn’t even have to “raise” the child as a girl as long as they put a baby doll in her hand. “My boys always had guns in their hand,” he added.

“Hashtag MeToo,” Trump Jr. responded to laughs from the student-based audience.
