Dr. Dre will produce and star in Apple’s first original television show, sources told The Hollywood Reporter. The show, described as a dark drama, will be called Vital Signs and is loosely based on 50-year-old rap pioneer’s life. Apple and a spokesperson for Dr. Dre declined to provide comment to The Hollywood Reporter. Dre sold his Beats Music to Apple in 2014.
