Dr. Dre might be putting down the mic and picking up a bow. TMZ reports that the legendary rapper said he has aspirations of joining the USA’s archery team at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles in a Tuesday interview with Entertainment Tonight. “I’m try’na try out for the Olympics in 2028,” Dr. Dre said. When host Nischelle Turner asked him to clarify what sport he would be competing in, he replied, “Archery,” and confirmed that he was “dead ass serious.” “I actually started playing around with archery in junior high,” Dre continued. He tells Turner that he got an archery set as a gift, and he practices in his backyard. “I heard that qualifying for the Olympics is 77 feet, and I practice at 90.” “I feel like I can do anything,” he added. Potentially competing aside, Dr. Dre celebrated the Games coming to L.A. when he and Snoop Dogg performed their song “The Next Episode” together on Sunday.
