A jury found convicted killer Drew Peterson guilty Tuesday of trying to put a hit out on Will County State's Attorney James Glasgow, who locked him up for 38 years for the 2004 murder of his third wife, Kathleen Savio. This second conviction of the ex-cop was largely predicated on audio recordings of conversations between Peterson and an informant inmate. Peterson was previously found guilty of murdering Savio after officials reopened the case of her mysterious drowning following the disappearance of the ex-cop’s fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, in 2007. No one has ever been charged for her disappearance. These two latest convictions—solicitation of murder for hire and solicitation of murder—carry a minimum of 20 and 15 years in prison, respectively.
