Wealthy murder suspect Robert Durst may have been headed to Cuba when he was apprehended in New Orleans last week, based on evidence found in his hotel room. Police say they found maps of Florida and the island nation, as well as $42,000 in cash, fake identities, and a rubber mask of an old man. While Cuba’s relations with the U.S. have softened in recent months, the longtime refuge for wanted Americans has firmly stated that it will still refuse to extradite people to the U.S. to stand trial.
