The Lakers have reportedly added another star to their fierce line-up for next season. ESPN reports that the Orlando Magic’s all-star center, Dwight Howard, will join Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, and Pao Gasul as part of a four-team deal that also involves the Philadelphia 76ers and the Denver Nuggets. Previous reports that the deal was in the works had NBA fans biting their nails at the thought of a league shakeup, but the so-called Dwightmare will finally be over when the trade is finalized on Friday. Though Howard has suffered from a back injury, he’s a powerful force that the Lakers likely hope will help power them to more championships.
