Her whereabouts have been unknown for several months, but it turns out Lindsay Mills, NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden’s girlfriend, has been living with Snowden in Russia since July. Mills was thought to have been left behind in Hawaii after Snowden first leaked NSA documents and fled to Russia. But director Laura Poitras’s new documentary Citizenfour shows Mills, a dancer, in Russia with Snowden. Mills has remained silent on the subject of Snowden and the leaks since last year, though the couple appear to have been together since at least 2009, living for a time in Baltimore before moving to Hawaii in 2012.
