On Wednesday, the European Union will file antitrust charges against Google for allegedly abusing its dominance of search results in Europe, according to the Financial Times and Wall Street Journal. E.U. Competition Commissioner Margrethe Vestager will reportedly say Google illegally directing traffic away from rivals. The E.U. could fine Google up to 10 percent of its annual revenues, or $6 billion, without a settlement.
