For the third consecutive year, Europe has won the Ryder Cup. The U.S. was no match for Rory McIlroy and co. Europe easily nabbed a 16 ½-11 ½ win without much resistance from the Tom Watson-led American team. Ryder Cup rookie Jamie Donaldson clinched the European win against American Keegan Bradley. “You can’t really put words to it, I suppose,” said Donaldson. In the past eight years, the U.S. has lost all but two of the Ryder Cups, regardless of whether they were at home or abroad.
