It's not all glamorous assignments overseas: A former CIA agent named Kevin Shipp is suing the agency over mistreatment, saying he was stuck in a mold-contaminated home with polluted drinking water near San Antonio. The toxic mold, he says, made his family sick and the general situation led his marriage to dissolve. The agency, meanwhile, is refusing to meet Shipp in court, saying it needs to protect state secrets. Shipp recently wrote a memoir about his experience but says the CIA blacked out accounts of his children's nosebleeds, rashes, vomiting, asthma, and memory loss.
