Former NFL linebacker Howard Thomas was pronounced dead Monday after a car he was driving barreled into a semi-truck at between 100 and 110 mph. The accident, which took the life of another driver as well, comes just a week after Thomas was cut by the Atlanta Falcons. The collision, observed by multiple witnesses, sent Thomas’s car catapulting into another lane, where it struck a Honda CRV, killing 64-year-old Zeng Long Liu.
