Former New York governor David Paterson and his wife, Michele Paige Paterson, are splitting after 19 years of marriage, The New York Post reported on Saturday. Although they have not formally filed for divorce, the couple has allegedly been separated "for some months." Each has admitted to affairs in the past, but there is no word on whether that may have played a part in their breakup. Paterson, who endured a rocky tenure in office after taking over for Eliot Spitzer, must also reckon with the tell-all memoir his wife was said to be shopping earlier this year.
