Former MSNBC host Dylan Ratigan is running for Congress. Ratigan announced on Wednesday that he is seeking the Democratic nomination for New York’s 21st congressional district, currently represented by Rep. Elise Stefanik, a moderate Republican. The National Republican Campaign Committee (NRCC) said in a statement: “It’s only fitting that Dylan Ratigan would move from New York City and the first vote he casts will be for himself.” Ratigan is joining a crowded field of nine Democrats.
