A former New York Rangers hockey player spotted holding hands with Sarah Palin at her defamation trial is, in fact, dating Sarah Palin. Ron Duguay had said on steps of the Manhattan federal courthouse Friday, “We’re friends. I’m here to support her.” But asked by The Daily Beast via text the same day, “Are you dating Sarah Palin?” Duguay responded with, “Hi. Yes.” Palin, who is suing The New York Times over a 2017 editorial, called Duguay her “buddy,” citing a shared love of hockey.
