Former Trump campaign aide Sam Nunberg appeared to reverse course Monday night, telling the Associated Press that he is “going to end up cooperating with” special counsel Robert Mueller. That followed a series of bizarre cable-news interviews in which Nunberg said he would refuse to comply with a subpoena and wouldn’t appear before a grand jury, arguing that the special counsel was going beyond its mandate by asking for his email communications with other Trump campaign officials. “I think it would be funny if they arrest me,” Nunberg said on MSNBC.
