The body of a former White House chef, who went missing a week ago, was found in New Mexico’s Sangre de Cristo Mountains on Sunday night. Walter Scheib served for a total of 11 years under Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. The trail leading to the location was very steep, and rescue teams took a long time to get the body down, searchers said. His body had minor scrapes and bruises, but officials said the death looks like “an unfortunate circumstance” rather than foul play.
