Facebook upped the number of users who may have been impacted by the Cambridge Analytica data scandal from 50 million to 87 million, according to a statement released Wednesday afternoon. “In total, we believe the Facebook information of up to 87 million people—mostly in the US—may have been improperly shared with Cambridge Analytica,” the statement read.
