5. World Cup of Lies
Once again, Jimmy Kimmel pounds the pavement of Hollywood Boulevard, this time in search of World Cup know-it-alls. Or at least, people who think they are. Watch as Angelenos pretend to be authorities on American soccer star Landon Donovanâs performance in this yearâs World Cup. The responses are interesting, especially because Donovan didnât qualify for the U.S. team, and has been gigging as an ESPN commentator instead.
4. One Song, One Singer, 29 Voices
Rob Cantor impersonates everyone from Christina Aguilera to Bono to Sir Ian McKellen while singing an original song, âPerfect.â For his next trick, he should record a one-man cover of âWe Are the World.â
3. Mick Jaggerâs 70-Year-Old âPythonâ
âA bunch of wrinkly old men trying to relive their youth and make a load of money.â The description could apply easily to the Rolling Stones, but here, itâs Stones frontman Mick Jagger talking about iconic comedy troupe Monty Python. Granted, heâs saying this in a promotional video for the Septuagenarian Reunion Tourânow running in Londonâso itâs good-natured fun all around.
2. The Kindness of Strangers
Carol Flynn wasnât expecting anything in return when she offered to pay for another Walmart customerâs diapers. She certainly wasnât expecting that anyone would capture it on video and make her a sensation. Her ârandom act of kindnessâ has struck a chord with people across the country, warming hearts and giving hope.
1. Fancy Pants Dance
A Chinese man, dubbed the Superman of Pants, left the Internetâs collective mouth agape when he shook and shimmied a pair of trousers on without the use of his hands. Heâs probably not going to start a new fad, but itâs fun to imagine what that would look like.
