There may be no crying in baseball, but there is definitely crying during Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. The film’s stars and fans alike are admitting to getting teary-eyed during the final movie in the franchise. Even The New York Times’ reviewer Manohla Dargis admitted to shedding a tear while watching Potter for the last time. But the below individuals were particularly emotional. From declarations of the end of childhood to indecipherable reactions due to sobbing, watch the biggest Harry Potter bawlers and see the most heartfelt tweets.

For some, the final Harry Potter film is the end of an era. For this viewer, it’s the end of his youth. “Our childhoods are over. That was like a funeral. I don’t even cry at funerals, but I am bawling right now,” he said through his tears, taking the Deathly part of the final film’s title quite literally. “Like I’m no longer a kid. I hate it. It’s like I’m an adult and I don’t like it at all. This sucks. The movie was so good.” At least, there’s that?

Leave it to this YouTuber’s brother to mortify her Harry Potter-related sobbing online. She may be the biggest crier out there and this was only upon seeing the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 trailer. At first, she was just teary-eyed. Then, she was frowning and her lip began quivering. Soon enough, she let the floodgates open. But the sobbing only got worse when the final film’s final trailer premiered online. “I watched it three times back to back… and cried my eyes out. I mean, ugly crying. For real,” the user explained. Can’t say she’s lying. Unfortunately, she has yet to upload a video of her reaction to movie itself, but it’s hard to imagine even more blubbering.

Here is another Potter fiend crying over Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. But she didn’t even get to see it premiere night on Thursday. Instead, she’s going Sunday, due to a change of plans. “I was depressed because it’s the last movie, which is the last premiere, and I don’t know what I’m going to do,” she said, holding her Potter-painted face. Fear not—the fanatic and her friends are still dressing up when they do get to see the movie. “I’m being Harry,” she explained. “Cause I look so much like him.”

This self-aware midnight premiere-goer exhibited a bit more self-awareness than some of the other crying fans. “OK, I feel like a doofus, but I cried through like half of that thing,” she admitted. After explaining the obvious—“This is me crying in a vlog”—it’s hard to make out what she’s saying. But seemingly, she liked it.

After her return from a midnight premiere, a choked up young fan admitted she was the only one crying at the theater, which “sucked.” Nevertheless, she admitted, “I can’t stop… it was practically the best two hours of my life.”
