An off-duty FBI agent accused of accidentally shooting a man in the leg while dancing in a Denver bar this month has turned himself in to face assault charges. Chase Bishop, 29, is due to appear in court Wednesday after being charged with second-degree assault in connection with the June 2 shooting. A man suffered a serious but non-life-threatening injury to his leg after Bishop’s firearm went off on a crowded dance floor. Bishop had been showing off his dance moves—which included a backflip—when it fell out of its holster, and it went off as he picked it back up. He could face additional charges for the incident depending on the results of a blood-alcohol content test, the results of which are still pending, authorities said.
