Life in London has brought a few bumps for James Corden, who returned to his native UK last year after living in Los Angeles for the eight years he hosted CBS' The Late Late Show. Since then, at least 18 complaints have been filed about a proposed “den” Corden wants to build at the bottom of his garden, but nearby residents are concerned because of the noise pollution they claim is already emanating from the actor/comedian’s home. The Daily Mail reports that Corden is seeking permission to build a new structure on his property, which would be roughly the size of a large one-bedroom apartment. But neighbors are worried about how that might worsen what they already consider troublesome noise levels coming from Corden’s property. “One of them plays the drums, which can often be heard on my terrace and occasionally inside my flat even with the windows closed,” said one neighbor of the Corden family. “What happens if they decide to move the drum kit out of the house and put it in the den?” Corden and his wife, TV producer Julia Carey, moved into the northwest London home last year with their three children Max, 13, Carey, 10, and Charlotte, 7.
