Feds: ‘American Insurgent’ Sought Attack

Robert Talbot Jr. goes on trial in Texas on Friday for what federal law enforcement says was his plan to start an “American Insurgent Movement” by blowing up government buildings, killing police officers, and spraying a mosque with gunfire. “We must rebel. Blood and bullets are the only two things that will change this world, short of divine action,” he allegedly wrote online. The FBI caught Talbot in March by monitoring him online and by putting undercover agents and informants around him. Talbot then revealed his plans to send “that White House worthless piece of dirt and his Muslim Brotherhood a message they will never forget.”
