Texas Tech is headed to its first national title game after defeating Michigan State in the NCAA Final Four semifinal late Saturday. The No. 3 Red Raiders knocked Michigan State out of the tournament with a 61-51 victory, a win that was largely credited to Texas Tech star Matt Mooney, who finished with 22 points. Jarrett Culver also helped usher the team to victory, with eight of his 10 points scored in the last three minutes, including a three-pointer with just 58 seconds left to go. “It was crazy in there,” Mooney said after the game. The team is due to face off against Virginia on Monday.
