A search team working to recover the wreckage of a plane that went missing in December has finally found the plane and confirmed that all five people onboard died in the crash. The plane, which carried Silicon Valley executive Dale Smith, 51, his son, his son’s wife, his daughter, and her fiancée, was flying from Oregon to Montana when it vanished in the mountains in northern Idaho in December. The plane caught on fire and crashed while Smith was trying to get information about a backcountry landing strip. "It's a real sense of closure to know exactly what happened and to know that they didn't suffer at all," Dale Smith's wife, Janis Smith said.
