Five people were found dead early Sunday at a car wash outside of Pittsburgh in what appears to have been a shooting rampage, authorities said. Pennsylvania State Police said four people died at the scene in Melcroft, while another died on the way to a local hospital. Another person was injured, though no further details were available on his or her condition. The victims have been identified only as three men and two women. Pennsylvania State Trooper Robert Broadwater said there was “no motive” and “no reason” for the shooting that police were aware of. Details were equally scarce on the suspected gunman. A state police detective cited by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette identified a man wearing body armor as the suspect. He said the man had been wounded and his current condition is not known. It wasn’t immediately clear if he was the sixth person found at the scene. Police stressed in a statement to USA Today that there is “no threat to the community, no imminent danger.”
