Jeff Flake (R-AZ) told an NBC News reporter Friday that he would almost definitely vote to confirm Supreme Court Justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh, according to a tweet from NBC News correspondent Geoff Bennett. The Huffington Post reports that Flake said his decision was final “unless something big changed”—but that “I don’t see what would.”
Q: you plan to vote yes tomorrow? FLAKE: “Unless something big changes - I don’t see what would. But anyway I’m glad we had a better process. We needed a better process.”
Q: you think Kavanaugh gets confirmed tomorrow? FLAKE: “I would think so.”
