Dave Grohl has performed much of the The Foo Fighters current “Throne” tour from a seated position after injuring his foot in a fall. At the Fenway Park Foo Fighters show Sunday night, Grohl brought Lew Schon, the doctor who’s been treating his foot, onstage to perform with the band.
In a promotional video for his practice, Dr. Schon said he wakes up every day excited about foot and ankle surgery. He probably woke up a little more excited than usual on the day of the Fenway show. The bow-tied Dr. Schon kicked out the jams, and the crowd ate it up.
