Mike Williams, a former NFL wide receiver, has been taken off life support and is responsive, according to Tierney Lyle, the mother of his daughter. The former Bills and Buccaneers player was hit in the head with a beam while doing electrical work on Aug. 21 and suffered a laceration that later became infected. He was hospitalized on Sept. 1 and placed into a medically-induced coma. “We need prayer warriors to continue praying and spread the word,” Lyle said to WIVB News 4.
