Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid lost a lawsuit against the maker of an exercise band that he blamed for career-ending injuries. The Las Vegas Review-Journal said Reid testified that he was partially blinded after he lost control of a TheraBand resistance band in his bathroom in 2015 and fell and hit his head, suffering a concussion and broken bones. Two months later, he decided not to run for re-election to a seat he had held since 1987. But Reid’s family discarded the band involved in the accident, and the jury found there was no proof the company being sued was the manufacturer, the Review-Journal reported.
