Four Great White Sharks Spotted Off the Coast of New York and New Jersey

At least four male Great White sharks have been spotted off the coast of New York and New Jersey within the last month, according to the New York Post: a 434-pound shark near Fire Island on May 2nd, a 395-pound shark near Long Beach Island on May 15th, a 578-pound shark off Long Island on May 17th, and 393-pound shark off Montauk on May 21st. A 15-year-old also suffered injuries consistent with a shark attack while surfing off Stone Island, New Jersey on Sunday.
