Fox News has cut ties with contributor Trey Gowdy after the former congressman was picked to serve as legal counsel for President Donald Trump in the House’s impeachment inquiry. “Trey Gowdy has been terminated and is no longer a contributor,” a network spokesperson said Wednesday. Gowdy left Congress last year after opting to not seek re-election for his South Carolina seat, and shortly thereafter joined Fox News as a contributor.
