Fox News Debuts New Slogan: ‘Real News. Real Honest Opinion.’

Fox News on Monday unveiled its new tagline “Real News. Real Honest Opinion” in a series of advertisements featuring its top news and commentary stars. “Fox is the one place where dissent is allowed,” primetime star Tucker Carlson claims in the ad. Ratings leader Sean Hannity also appears in the ads, touting Fox’s opinion side. The news network last year had to retract a story about the death of DNC staffer Seth Rich based on a conspiracy theory Hannity repeatedly touted on his program. Elsewhere in the new Fox ad, news anchor Martha MacCallum says: “We are going to ask the tough questions because there is a lot of conventional wisdom out there that needs to be challenged.”
