Fox News host Eric Bolling on Wednesday initiated a lawsuit against HuffPost reporter Yashar Ali for last Friday’s explosive story alleging the right-wing talker sent unsolicited and inappropriate texts—including photos of male genitalia—to several female colleagues. According to the New York State Supreme Court summons, reviewed by The Daily Beast, Bolling is seeking no less than $50 million in damages for alleged defamation. Ali’s report cited a dozen sources corroborating the alleged sexts, and the day after the HuffPost story a former frequent on-air guest of Bolling’s came out to say that the host had frequently peppered her with sexist comments while on television. Bolling has been suspended from the network since Saturday.
